FOR MECHANICAL CARDIO PULMONARY LUNG RECRUITMENT AND
 MAINTENANCE PULMONARY VENTILATION OF
NEONATES THROUGH PEDIATRICS TO LARGE ADULTS

THE SINUSOIDAL BRONCHOTRON® CLAIMS ARE:

THIS PROVEN THERAPEUTIC LUNG RECRUITMENT AND STABILIZATION VENTILATOR EMPLOYS THE PERCUSSIVE HIGHER FREQUENCY SINUSOIDAL RESPIRATION LOGIC CONCEIVED BY DR. FORREST BIRD IN THE 1980’S, THUS ENABLING PROFESSIONAL CIVIL OR MILITARY CARDIOPULMONARY CLINICIANS TO VENTILATE ANY NEONATAL, PEDIATRIC OR ADULT LUNG “CAPABLE OF BEING MECHANICALLY VENTILATED INVASIVELY OR NON- INVASIVELY”.

The Sinusoidal Bronchotron is totally independent of any electrical source (NO BATTERIES), using a standard clinical oxygen or air supply to cycle the ventilator as well as to ventilate the patient with a proven reliability “equal to or better than” any existing pulmonary ventilatory device.  It is:

1. Powered by any 50- 80 psi. respiratory gas source (from wall or cylinders) which is then internally regulated to OPERATIONAL GAS PRESSURES from 30 to 45 psig for recruiting and stabilizing neonatal through pediatric to large adult lungs. Programming allows mechanical ventilation, through invasive or non-invasive airways, with continuous patient assist/control breathe through.

2. A high frequency INTRAPULMONARY PERCUSSIVE VENTILATOR (IPV)Ò with simultaneous endobronchial therapeutic aerosol delivery for airway recruitment and continuing lung ventilatory maintenance.


3.  By combining HIGHER FREQUENCY DIFFUSION directed toward (PaO2) enhancement with LOWER FREQUENCY CONVECTION directed toward CO2 wash out, a balanced universal invasive or non-invasive critical care ventilatory recruitment and stabilization is programmed while maintaining a lung protective strategy.

4.  Most important, it enhances “physiological intrapulmonary vesicular peristalsis” by providing a concomitant mechanial enhancement to flow through the three intrathoracic circulations (pulmonary, bronchial and lymph).
